Reference to students in these Conditions includes the parents of students under 18 years of
age where the context allows.It is vital that each student has a full seize keyboard with weighted keys and dynamic or a piano before commencing lessons.
Four lessons per month will be given (in line with school term times). Fees are payable upfront each month for the coming month.
Notice of an increase in fees will be given in writing in the term prior to the term in which the
increase will take effect.FEES, which are currently 55 Euro for 60 minutes are to be paid by the last lesson of the month for the month ahead, and no later. If it remains unpaid by the second lesson, an automatic
late payment fee of 25 Euro will be added to the invoice.Music will be supplied by the teacher. The cost of the music, including any exam fees and
any extra lessons given will be charged separately from lesson fees and payable on receipt.
Lessons will generally be suspended during the recognised holidays (Easter, Summer, and
Christmas and half-term breaks).LESSONS MISSED through the student’s non-attendance will be charged for, unless the
circumstances warrant a special concession, at the teacher’s discretion. Please note missed
lessons are not rescheduled or carried over to the next term. Lessons missed by the teacher
will be rearranged for another time, or the fee will be refunded.EXAMINATIONS, COMPETITIONS & PUBLIC PERFORMANCES: The teacher will not enter
the student for an examination or competition without the student’s consent; the student will
not enter for an examination or competition, or perform in public at any time without the
permission of the teacher.NOTICE of 30 days ahead to discontinue lessons must be given in writing by the student if
the decision is made to terminate lessons.9.1 Failure by the student to give such notice will render the student liable for fees during the following month.
9.2 Please note: a final calculation will be done to ensure you only pay for lessons provided up to the termination date, therefore, you may need to pay a final invoice or be refunded the relevant amount.
The teacher reserves the right to terminate lessons immediately. Any future paid for lessons
will be refunded in this case.Students are responsible for the care and safety of themselves and their belongings whilst
on the teacher’s premises.In the event of Government legislation restricting face-to-face music lessons (e.g. lockdown
restrictions during the COVID-19 pandemic), online lessons will be offered instead. The terms of this contract will continue to be upheld, including the notice period for termination of lessons.The student has the right to cancel this contract within 30 days of the student’s
signed agreement date.The Code of Conduct, Safeguarding and Privacy policies are available at the teacher’s studio for your reference.
